I have been reading a lot about Winifred Nicholson and her painting process, how she finished most of her paintings in one sitting, and Alice Neel how she created so many paintings from life, all while managing their own family lives.<br/><br/> These new paintings are being painted quickly, 1-2 hours, while my daughter is in school, after I’ve finished working/laundry/cleaning/prepping dinner etc.. with acrylic on paper and are studies of objects that collect in corners and on coffee tables around my home.
